Compute decentralized.

Calvin and Mike first crossed paths while working at Blue Origin, collaborating on New Glenn and other cutting-edge projects. Calvin later met Kwadwo at a hackathon, where their shared passion for technology and innovation sparked a quick friendship. Through Kwadwo, Calvin was introduced to Bob and to Groundswell Startups, a nonprofit startup incubator and coworking space in Melbourne, Florida. Today, our team is proudly based on Florida’s Space Coast—building decentralized compute infrastructure, together.

Calvin England | CEO | Co-founder

Calvin was previously a United States Marine Corps infantry combat veteran of Afghanistan and a Purdue University graduate of the school of Mechanical Engineering. He’s spent his engineering career in both space (Blue Origin, Beyond Gravity) and aviation (Northrop Grumman, Extant Aerospace) manufacturing, focusing on circuit card assembly, structures assembly and repair, chemical etching, vacuum furnace heat treatment, fluids testing, and acquisition transition.

Mike Moore | Chief Engineer | Co-founder

Mike played professional hockey in the NHL and is a Princeton graduate of mechanical and aerospace engineering. Since exiting the sports arena, he’s driven over $25m worth of savings while at Blue Origin. While at Blue Origin, he’s been responsible for the standup of new processes, executed conformance dispositions, and architected the automation of reliability and assurance reporting, leading to the organization saving over 80,000 man-hours.

Bob McElrath | Advisor

Bob earned his PhD in theoretical particle physics and became a CERN fellow in Geneva, Switzerland. After exiting two founding-CTO positions in the Bitcoin space (Ribbit Rewards, Vida Identity), Bob joined Fidelity’s R&D arm to study Bitcoin, which included standing up their mining operation. Bob serves as advisor to a select handful of Bitcoin companies and works as the lead of Braidpool, an open-source, decentralized mining-pool which uses a DAG to organize rewards.
